I'm sure this has been asked loads of times. I'm going to try to give all the details you need right here in the first post. My fiance and I made a deal that she could buy a smart watch with her tax return and I could spend the same amount on whatever I choose (the rest goes to honeymoon). So, now I have a spending limit of $200. I'd like to keep the capture card below $150, closer to $100, so that I can also get a RAM upgrade and a halfway decent webcam (those two are optional). Primary use for the card would be to capture HDMI consoles, of course, but I also want to be capable of capturing from PS2 and original xbox.

Purpose: Capture HDMI, A/V preferred but optional
Price range: $100-$200, lower almost always better

Computer specs (IDK if this will matter): i5-2500, 12GB DDR3 1600MHz, EVGA GTX 960, 400W PSU

I literally just bought an HP z210 workstation and slapped ram and a 960 into it. It does the job, now I'm giving it another.

Side note: Is this even the right place to put this thread? I'm only here because I saw another one here from mid-2015.

Edit: I've been looking at the Hauppauge Colossus. I just want to know if my money can go to a better home. http://www.hdpvr2gaming.com/product.sc?productId=5&categoryId=1
