Torrent Tracker?

so me and alot of my friends have a site in which we translate some stuff

the question is would it be faster considerably if we made a torrent tracker to run along side our site
so we can transmit large files between ourselves?

Or do you guys think it wont matter as the upload rates differ from 1 user to another

please write why you think what you think
