You should buy neither and get a Schiit Fulla 2 instead. Or nothing and save money.

im a dunce in the subject can you elaborate, as for example like its more power then i need, for the 2 models i stated or any other reason?

Sure I can elaborate. You should get the Fulla 2 over the options you are considering because it is a much better value and more than adequate for those headphones.

I guess I should ask, though. Why are you looking to buy a DAC and amp?

I have never used anything else other then my astro A40, and some bose desktop speakers to drive my audio and recently looked into a cleaner nicer sounding solution to this but seeing as i have no experience in the subject i came here for advice. And i greatly and appreciate yours and ordered the fulla 2. I had a fear if i did it on my own i would over spend on something that was more then i needed.

ok so, the Fulla schiit i got in a couple days ago but have not recieved the K7XX yet. but just testing it through the fulla vs the astro mix amp there is a cleaness to it that is hard to describe when using the fulla, and its louder AND i dont get a SHHHHHHHHHHH  in the backround

The "cleanness" that you are perceiving from the Fulla may be a contrast to the massive coloring the "astro amp" does to the audio. The Fulla is just playing the audio as it's coming out of your PC, but amplifying it - the gist of it anyways. Plus, the noise floor isn't garbage so you're not getting the static. :P

I don't wanna sound like a dick, but the Fulla 2 and Fulla is a DAC amp combo, so it takes the digital signal from the PC and makes it into an analog signal and then it amplifies it ;) :D

Only saying this because there is already enough misunderstanding in this subject

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

That's why I said that was the gist of it. I get tired of explaining the same thing over and over.
