  1. 1. Did your first PC build POST the first time you turned it on? Mine didn't! One of the sticks of RAM was knocked out due to poor cable management!

    • Yes my PC did POST the first time I turned it on!
    • No -_-

Mine didn't, I went to turn it on and the lights and fans came on but there was nothing on the screen! I decided to read the motherboard manual and I found out that the yellow light means there is a problem with the DRAM. I think that my poor cable management knocked one of the sticks of ram out!

Mine didn't POST due to one of the RAM sticks being faulty.

First, I tested my PSU using "paper clip test," and it seemed fine. I couldn't afford another CPU or motherboard, so I hoped it was faulty RAM and ordered a new one. Fortunately, the new one worked, and I was so so happy.

Cool, it must have been a great feeling when you got it working!
