Help SPEAKERS NOT SOUNDING

Ah ok, no worries.

In that case the only thing you can really do is try the speakers on another device.

If they work on another device, there's something wrong with the PC.

If they don't, then the speakers will need to  be replaced.

 

Passive speakers are speakers which require an amplifier.

Active speakers (which sounds like what you have) have amplification built in.

this has been my problem for the last 3 days but i havent got the time to post it until now so i was using my pc playing some games and music when suddenly it loses sound i looked at playback devices and the green thingy that goes up and down when there is music is going up and down i tried restarting my pc still not working now im forced to use my monitors speakers.

is it time to buy a new speaker?

Change the cables, change the amp (if you have passive speakers) before you run out and get new speakers :)

Ah ok, no worries.

In that case the only thing you can really do is try the speakers on another device.

thx for replying but... i already threw the speakers away and even if i still had it there no ther pc i can test it on this house :D thx for the reply
