He just means cheap windows are difficult to keep looking nice after time.

Some people also find they look tacky.

It's not about how they are gonna make a profit. It's about what one might find appealing.

Well you can't make profit on items you can't sell because people think they look like shit.

The company, in a competitive market, doesn't matter, what the consumer thinks does.

If you like it, get it. You asked for an opinion and got one. Dunno what else to say.

It doesn't matter if they care about your profit. (They do) What matters is that customers find it appealing and buy it.

Customer doesn't find product appealing = No sale of product

No sale = no profit

So you increase the price. Do you really think glass is that expensive to make? It's not. Especially when ordering on a mass scale. Not only that but at the thickness they'd be using it's not that expensive either. You'd just increase the price of the case accordingly, just like how any other business would.

Yeah. Even then not overly difficult. I don't think the OP knows how glass is made...it's not like you take hardened glass and try to bend it. Shipping wouldn't even be that big of an issue. Look at something like Duralex. Virtually unbreakable. Plus wine glasses are a million times more fragile.

Tempered glass is for women. The case is pretty good for the price. It's exactly what I would expect for the price range.
