hyperx cloud stinger cable problems

My brother has an hyperx cloud stinger but can not use both the microphone and the headphones since his computer can not run both of those through one 3.6mm cable. But the output is only one cable and i have so far not found a splitter for this. I also thought about using an 3.6mm to usb adapter but i could not find one.

Stinger comes with a splitter. I know it because I personally have it.

But if you lost it then look for splitters

Like Dexxter said it should have a splitter in the box. Bought a pair myself and wondered why the cable was there, until i ended up having this same issue

Also edited out that 2nd part as its wrong, i think. after checking the headsets 3.5mm it does have 3 rings so shouldn't need the splitter to do both headphone/mic?
