It's got even dual xeons inside :D altho it weighs a bit, it's still got the handle on top :)

Lenovo ThinkStation C20
Dual Xeon E5649
48 Gigs of DDR3 1333 ECC 6x8GB
Quadro K4000

holy crap, 12 cores in that?? that's pretty freaking cool. how's the thermals?

think___ machines are solid as hell, so I'd assume it's pretty good.

idk

Under load the CPU's hit around 65C when on heavy rendering, tho have to take in mind that the CPU's are basically front to back connected in the same airflow path, so the one on the back tends to get a bit on the toastier side. The quadro is also a thermal HOG but the system at idle consumes around 120W from the wall and around 450-500 when under full gaming load, or 350 when CPU rendering on Keyshot is being utilized.

Thermally speaking i'm okay with the current temps and the ambient 25-35db of noise it creates, the girlfriends side of things isn't nagging on it aswell, so I think I'm golden here, considering the fact that this whole darn thing cost me in the used market at around 400 USD.

I'm kinda thinking of modding this case from the top to make room for dual 120mm AIO loops, to get this arflow thing out of the case instead of creating a windtunnel  FX inside.

Don't bother. 65c is pretty good, better than I expected. I hit 65 under 100% stress and I've got an AIO (mind you I've limited the fans to 750RPM)

idk

We'll see, I'm a tinkerer, so I might have to discard your information here :D (I build Supermicro servers day in and day out)

Oh okay, then go for it. But don't come back crying that you messed up your case :D
