Hey all. So for the past year I have continually built and torn down and sold about 5 or so pcs. Kept getting better as they went on. My current one is all color coordinated black and white. I7 7700k. asrock z270 taichi. Custom cable mod black white cables. Deepcool captain 240ex white. Evga sc gtx 1070. Black white tempered glass phanteks p400s. The point is is looks very very good. I think the next step for me is water cooling. I want a custom loop that is reasonable price but has a low chance of leaking. I'd prefer the parts to be available at performancepcs because I have had good experiences with them. Would be a good idea to buy a water cooling kit then just buy a gpu block separate? Or just to buy it all separate? I know I want to use the mayhem uv pastel white coolant

If you're gonna buy individual parts specifically from PC-Performance only get ready to pay through the nose. If you buy a kit that would be better if you're only planning to buy from PC-Performance. Kit's are 300-400$-ish and they do not include a GPU block (as you already know), so tack on 120-150$ for a GPU block depending on which you pick.

You will need,

1) Fittings

2) Tubing

3) CPU Block

4) GPU Block

5) Pump

6) Reservoir

7) Radiator, a LEAST a 360 mm radiator if you water cool both a GPU and CPU if you don't want worse temps than pre-water cooling

I was planning on just buying a kit and a gpu block. Are any of the kits even any good? And if so which ones? And will I need any extra tubing or anything since I am running the loop through the gpu as well?

10 Foot is what comes standard with the Primochill Advanced LRT, and that is enough for most cases.

I wouldn't buy kits ever. If I looked around, I could buy stuff for cheaper than the kits that are more premium.

He said " tempered glass phanteks p400s" ergo Eclipse P400 Tempered Glass

I don't have my heart set on the kit or the website. Can you find me exactly what I would need for a custom loop in that case? Brand doesn't matter as long as it's reliable.

I can't find it for you. They are LITERALLY ALL THE SAME! The only thing you need to go high quality and spend more on is the CPU Block, which would only run you 20$ more than an average CPU block from like 2010 and will give you 5C better temperatures. According to Linus's Video about Water Cooling through the ages.

Find what you like, for fittings you want G1/4 threads and for tubing you want 3/8ID 5/8OD

There are A LOT of parts of there and they all literally do the same thing. There are some fittings that have 3 O-Rings inside of it, but 1 O-Ring is enough and will allow you to have smaller fittings rather than longer ones.

This was my build from another thread asking the same thing.
