3D laptop worksation

Hey guys, next year I plan on going into a 3D highschool and I'm wondering what laptops are good atm and what kind of price range I should expect. I will do some 3D modelling but probably not rendering, thanks a bunch !

I see a lot of Thinkpads with different price ranges. Why would you recommend those by the way ? Any experience with them ?

Thinkpads are the toughest laptops on the market.  It's hard to kill or break a Thinkpad.  I used to have a Thinkpad at my firm.  I had it for roughly 8 years before I retired it.  I recommend the Thinkpad P50 with the 6700HQ and the NVIDIA Quadro graphics card.  It has ample power for 3D modeling and gets great battery life.

Literally just buy a budget gaming laptop. No need to spend money. High school 3D and CAD is so easy to run u could do it on intel graphics.
