I went and bought the new CoD Ghosts from GMG (Green Man Gaming) and before you say anything I only bought it because all my friends did and I wanted something to play.

Well the first mistake I made was buying the game, the second was buying from GMG.

Basically, even though my computer can easily run the game it constantly lags, even on low settings and the mouse is completely screwed up. And yes I have tried the fixes but that's not the point. The game will also crash to desktop half the time and after looking at the Task Manager it appears that CoD was using in excess of 4.5GB of RAM. Why?

On top of the issues above only 1 of my friends has been able to get it running.

Despite the fact that the game is broken and clearly not as advertised GMG are flat out refusing to even consider giving me a refund. If Steam and Origin can then why can't GMG? Why are the people who bought from GMG being punished when others having the same problems are getting refunds from Steam.

I will continue to fight for a refund as I'm not happy paying over £30 for something that is unplayable due to no fault of my own.

In the mean time I would recommend not buying this from GMG because if you have the same problems then GMG don't care unfortunately.

Steam will only give you a refund once unless there are extreme circumstances. I already gotten one refund so when I bought Defiance and it didn't work for the first 2 weeks I tried to get a refund and I couldn't get one.

Whether it's badly optimised or not. Most of these problems are clearly apparent within 5 - 10 minutes of starting the game. How did IW not notice these problems?
