Bluetooth drivers

Hey guys!

 

I just upgraded my motherboard/cpu/ram and I'm now having trouble with my BT headphones. With my old asus p5k-vm motherboard, and a BT dongle, devices would automatically connect the headphones when they were turned on. 

With my new asus p8z77-v motherboard and the same dongle, my headphones don't reconnect even though it shows as paired. Connection only works on the first pairing, and removing the paired device to re-pair them requires rebooting the PC.

 

I tried uninstalling the drivers but Windows grabs the same one, saying its the correct driver. Supplier of the BT dongle won't provide a driver, saying it's plug and play and that windows will automatically install it.

 

Suggestions?
