Whenever I turn on my computer it goes to the Windows Error Recovery. If I let it run it will finish then go back to the Windows Error Recovery screen again. I turned it off lay night and just tried to start it.

Any one know what I should do?

*Edit: Windows Boot Manager had changed places in boot sequences to be first.

probably MBR is corrupted. MBR = Master boot record.

Take your windows CD or USB, boot on it just like you want to instlal windows, instead of installing windows go to REPAIR, select REPAIR START UP or something like that, sorry i don't have the image in front of me, just guiding you by memory,

The windows will try to repair itself, sometimes it work, sometimes not, if it doesn't work, there are some workaround you can try but it is not easy for normal people, so you will probably need to reinstall windows.

If your computer is old, your hard drive is probably starting to die, that might be another reason, you can scan your hard drive with some programs to get to know if its still good, something like HD SENTINEL will do the job

Oddly enough I just installed an ssd and reformatted all my harddrives and got a new windows key. I unplugged my ssd and re-plugged it back in. On start up it asked if I wanted to boot into windows 7. I just hit esc and then it loaded like normal.

What should I do to prevent that? Also it seems to be working fine.

sounds like you have multiple bootloaders, when you formatted all the drives, did you format just the primary partition or the entire physical disk ? I've done this before formatting drives but not touching the EFI partition at the front of the drive
