HTML Image Positioning Help

So we have Vend E commerce and I added a whole new nav bar to replace to old one. The only issue is positioning the logo on the new nav bar. I would like to have the logo image in a certain spot on the website and have it hover over the nav bar without causing any confliction or moving anything. Is that possible?

I would make the logo a background image on the nav bar and use background-position property.

There's probably a better solution, but that's what I'd do.

maybe, draw a diagram of how you want it to look much easier to help you if me know what you're trying to achieve.
