Screen with waves

Go to solution Solved by PETZOOMASTER,

Solved, used my brother's screen with HDMI, and I had no waves.

I recently got a GTX 780, and when I open up games, I get these waves on my screen. When I have VSYNC off, they are very visible, and only alittle visible when I have VSYNC on. My current monitor is BenQ G2420HDB, and I have it hooked up to a VGA - DVI. I'm going to get a new screen, but I wonder if the screen I have atm is the reason for the waves or if it is something else.

I've never heard of something like this. Maybe you should try and use a different cord like hdmi or display port. Even straight digital DVI could make a difference. Don't use VGA it is terrible.

This is my opinion, it doesn't mean I'm right and is liable to change at any time. I may offend of which I apologize in advance.
