Hey, I've just been on PCPartPicker, trying to plan my first gaming PC build.

If your going with AMD i would wait for Ryzen to come out in a couple months. other then than it looks pretty good (I would ditch the dvd drive though)

also i would ditch the sound and wifi cards unless they are a must and use the extra money to buy somthing like a GTX 750 ti on ebay

Don't buy new FX processors at this time unless you can get a super amazing discount. Wait for ryzen instead. Optical drives are outdated, and you may want to add an SSD. Those are of course minor things when compared to the video card, which is garbage for gaming.

this would work 100 times better, a bit over budget but legit a thousand times better in graphics performance. 

 

Normally i would suggest an SSD over a hard drive but SSds are to expensive right now
