Posted February 12, 2017 I am planning to take advantage of my motherboard's M.2 slots. Checking the cheapest M.2 drives on the market, I stumbled upon the Samsung 850 Evo M.2 SSD. At its description it is said that it is a SATA III drive, Does this mean that it still have a 6gb/s bandwidth limit even if connected to a M.2 interface slot? Posted February 12, 2017 What capacity are you looking at? In the lower capacities, it makes more sense to just spend the extra $30ish to get the 960 EVO or the $5ish to get the Intel 600p.
