What are people opinions on 8tb Seagate Archival drives

i have 3tb wd green and 6tb wd blue hard drive, and want to replace 3tb wd green to 6tb wd blue to mirror files on both 6tb hard drives, but wont be doing raid1 kinda old school copy / paste method, and would be adding 8tb but helium hard drives prices are skyrocketing with 8tb being twice as much as 6tb, so a guy on another forum suggested getting 8tb Seagate Archival drive which is more than 6tb wd blue "WD60EZRZ" but less than WD's 8tb helium filled hard drive which data repairing will be impossible or is impossible yet....anyway back to the topic the guy suggested 8tb Seagate Archival hard drive codename "ST8000AS0002" and i saw from Linus videos that he had a lot of Seagate hard drives, so want to ask people who watches his videos, uses his forum, and have same hard drives what is your opinion on that one? ps. Never had Seagate drive, my oldest bought WD drive was 1TB Blue WD10EZEX - still working perfectly after 4 years of heavy usage as d disk, no errors no bad sectors or something else just, now sits in my brothers pc.

get wd's....dont get seagates...seagates failed too much in my lifetime....
