Yes, I know that you should be using identical RAM modules, even from the same kit because something might change if they were manufactured on different dates.

 

I started with 16 GB then upgraded with another 16 GB later when I got them for cheap.  The only problem was they ended up being slightly different kits.  My first purchase was a set of 2x8 GB HyperX Savage.  I got another 2 sticks of 8 GB HyperX Fury.

 

So, my question is which slots should I put my ram in?

Currently I have the identical sticks in opposite channels:

Channel A: Savage(Slot 2) Fury(Slot 4)

Channel B: Savage(Slot 1) Fury(Slot 3)

That will work fine.
