You have a strange definition of cheap... it's a 4k 28" TN monitor priced more or less the same as all other similar products. I paid pretty much the same for a very similar product 2 years ago.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

No idea. The price of the panel, bezel, labor, etc. may have been low enough that the cost isn't high or the panel isn't selling well and they want to liquidate.

Reading through reviews on the site, it seems well-received.

No, but make sure you know what you're buying and that you're fine with a TN screen. Also make sure your graphics card has a displayport 1.2 output or better.

Its a 4k monitor that cut a few corners to be 4k at such a cheap price.

Cons:

  • Absolute Input lag is on the higher end of the scale so don't buy this for somewhat competitive gaming.
  • Stand is pretty limited so no height or swivel adjustments.
  • Small FreeSync Range

I would only get this monitor for media consumption with some light gaming.

Response time has nothing to do with latency/input lag.

That's probably a grey-to-grey number which manufacturers use to advertise their monitors and make them seem better. It's like instead of putting down how many seconds it takes to count from 1 to 10, how many seconds it take to count from 1-5. But that doesn't matter too much. Also, I'm talking about the absolute input lag so how long it takes for the computer to output an image and the monitor to physically show it. More info here:

It's going to hurt you most in reflexes. I've never properly played any battlefield so I'm not quite sure how much reflexes are important in that game.
