Looking for a electrical engineer

Hey

I have a school assignment to ask a engineer about there work,

so i was woundering if there was someone like that here that would like to answer a few questiens?

I would really appreciate it if you could take your time and answer them.

 

The questiens are

-Which country do you work in?

-What is your post/title?

-Whats your education background?

-How does your workday look like and what are your duties?

-What are fun with your job and what advantage are there?

-What are less fun and the disadvantage with your job?

-What experience, knowledge and skills is important in your job?

I just ran across this thread... this maybe way too old but I am willing to answer the questions:

 

 

-Which country do you work in? United States

-What is your post/title? Design Engineer

-Whats your education background? B.S. in Science of EE through Virginia Tech

-How does your workday look like and what are your duties?  I mainly work with developing digital hardware ranging from schematic creation, PCB layout, some VHDL logic development, and firmware development.

-What are fun with your job and what advantage are there? I get to develop some really cool stuff in the BLE (Bluetooth 4.0) hardware and firmware.

-What are less fun and the disadvantage with your job? Writing specifications... sigh... yuck

-What experience, knowledge and skills is important in your job? Staying current with specifications depending on the exact field you are in digital design. You should be able to work with a team.. otherwise you will not go far.  This may seem strange, but knowing how to research for ICs and knowing who to talk to, to get the information you need.

-Whats your education background? Univercity  of Ottawa

-How does your workday look like and what are your duties? Its an average day

-What are fun with your job and what advantage are there? Income is great, I have it pretty easy.

-What are less fun and the disadvantage with your job? Firing people

-What experience, knowledge and skills is important in your job? Communication skills, work ethic
