Hey guys,

I just recently built my computer about a month ago now and this issue has only just showed up for some unknown reason. I tried booting up a game (Crysis 1) that I had just installed that has never had any issues in the past. I can boot some games up while I can't boot others. I get no errors or anything but at one point I booted a game that utilises DirectX11 and had a DirectX12 driver BSOD but haven't had the issue with anything else. I have tried using CC Cleaner to clean up the registry and any files that could be causing an issue.

Games that are working:

American Truck Simulator, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (BSOD after 30 minutes of gameplay), Crysis 2, Garry's Mod, Mass Effect 2, Minecraft, MotoGP 2007, Technic Launcher, Need For Speed: Most Wanted (Original), Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, SimCity 4, SWAT 4, SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, Tomb Raider: Legend, Trainz Simulator 12, Warframe and Yandere Sim

Games not working (With Issue):

Age of Mythology (Unknown won't even boot other than originally complaining to boot in Admin mode and still doesn't load), Crysis (Mouse loader shows but nothing happens), Fallout 3 (Always crashes 5 minutes into Gameplay ever since doing a fresh install of Windows 10 after changing system from old LGA775 running Windows 7), Flight Simulator X (Stops responding after 1 minute), Grand Theft Auto V (Won't even leave the rockstar load screen), World of Tanks (Stops responding the moment it is opened and minimises itself to the taskbar), World of Warships (Same as World of Tanks).

Specs:

Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H (F21A BIOS update from Gigabyte support staff), Intel Core i7-6700, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (Latest drivers, Upgrading to 1050 Ti next week) Intel HD Graphics 530 (Enabled with drivers installed), 16GB DDR4 @ 2133MHz (2x8GB), Intel 600p NVMe 256GB SSD (Main storage), Toshiba MK3276GSX 320GB HDD, Seagate ST380815AS, Windows 10 Latest Update

System Specs:

Intel Core i7-6700, Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H (Rev 1.0), Gigabyte GeForce GTX 950, Crucial 16GB DDR4 Kit (2x8GB) @ 2133MHz, Thermaletake TR 2 S 450W PSU, Intel 600p Series M.2 PCIe x4 256GB SSD, Toshiba 2.5" 300GB HDD, Seagate 3.5" 80GB HDD, Windows 10 Pro x64

have you tried disabling your Intel HD

Could having it active cause issues?

Why do you have a low end GPU with a HIGH end CPU? Is this pre-built system?

Nope not always and he specifically said its enabled

Where does it say that? Please show me.

Pre-Built... No, I bought a Low end GPU originally because of my old system (the LGA775 system).

As for my integrated gpu " NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (Latest drivers, Upgrading to 1050 Ti next week) Intel HD Graphics 530 (Enabled with drivers installed),  " I enabled it through the BIOS

Why would you enable it ? doesn't your GPU have multiple ports. Also, no point of getting the 1050 ti. Get the 1060. Also which 1050 is it? Which brand?

I originally enabled it to see what it would have been running at and what the specs of it was and couldn't be bothered to turn it back off. And I am also running a single monitor.

Gigabyte GeForce 1050 Ti G1 Gaming 4GB, I didn't go for the 1060 as I didn't have the money when I bought it. Gonna save up and buy an even better gpu in the next year or so

Turn it off and use the GPU. I'd get a second hand 1060. Price might be lower than a new one

What was the bsod error and how did you get rid of the driver? this tends to be the best to fully wipe them

Second hand 1060's where I am, don't exist and to buy one from America and get it shipped over here will cost more than to buy it brand new.

Ok some of the issues were caused by TeamViewer but games that wouldn't even boot still won't boot.

Sounds like either your gpu or its driver is screwed. But might also be a crazy unstable overclock on either ram, cpu or gpu.

As a matter of fact Fallout 3 straight up doesn't run on Win 10, so thats not a surprise. Most older games have terrible compatibility with Win 10, so this could be part of the problem.

I don't have an unstable overclock on anything. I have a slight oc (that only gets turned on when a heavier graphic game is played) on my gpu that shuts off automatically when I restart my pc. Regards to Fallout 3, that really sucks that it doesn't run on Win 10. They should release a fix for it since you have so many that play it still
