Google chrome temp folder

Do you guys have your chrome temp folder on your HDD or SSD? i hear you can save write cycles by moving it from your SSD to the HDD.

Now i know how to change it on a desktop shortcut, but all the time i run chrome from my taskbar ( i have it pinned to the taskbar ), any ideas how to move the temp folder from ssd to hdd when running chrome from taskbar?
