I'd wait for a month and see what Ryzen offers in terms of price and performance. It'd be a shame to throw down $1000 and then find out you could have gotten a similar alternative for much less.

 

Also, if this isn't a gaming rig, you should get a higher resolution monitor. More specifically, a 4K one.
