My PC is doing weird things

So a little over a year ago I built my first PC, and it was all going well until recently it started acting up. One time it refused to turn off after shutting it down like normal then trying to turn it off via the power button, ended up having to hold down the power button to turn it off. And just now I left it idle for about an hour and a half and it's still on running like normal, but when I tried to wake it up it restarted for some reason. I know I haven't downloaded anything sketchy, probably the sketchiest thing I've downloaded is origin (lol jk). But jokes aside, could this be a power supply problem or what would the problem be? I know there is more than enough wattage for the system and the power supply is as far as I know pretty decent.
