Driver issues.

Hello,

About three weeks ago I updated my old rig from AMD to intel. I used my old hard drives but anytime I download will have AMD ready download file. Should I reset my entire PC or is there something I can use to delete the AMD drivers in my hard drives.

Whenever you move from AMD to Intel, you should reinstall Windows. Don't reset, rather reinstall from from a USB drive or DVD.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

You don't need to buy it again, just reinstall with the same product key.

When I first install windows on my old build I installed "Windows 8.2 Pro" and then upgraded it to windows 10. If I used the same installation disk will it cause it to go back to 8.1 or will it stay on 10?

A Windows 8.1 disc is still going to be Windows 8.1. There might be a way to get the key directly from Windows 10, or you could use the "Accessibility Features" Windows 10 Upgrade. Just look that up. That'd mean installing Windows 8.1 and then using some accessibility to be eligible to upgrade to Windows 10.
