Well me and my family are moving into a new house soon (Building my pc when we do move in finally :P) And since i prefer my room in the low-mid 60s and the rest of my family like 74 degrees so i need a quiet air conditioner because having a quiet pc is going to be pointless if my air conditioner if it is louder than my pc.

I don't know how much good conditioner's cost but just show me what they cost and we will go from there.

The issue with them is the ventilation. Have you got a window that you can vent through? The vent plates are adjustable in width but about 5-7" in height.

The thing is i'm not sure what the window setup will be in my new house as we have not picked out a house to live in yet so everything in my life is somewhat in the air. But just give me some suggestions and if they won't work they won't work. At least i will have the option if it does happen to work in the house we live in.

Delonghi, Whirlpool and LG make some decent units. I'll try to dig up tomorrow the Choice AU testing done recently and see what they thought. The issue with most of them is the on going running costs.

since when mitsubishi makes air conditioning systems? I thought they are a making cars only..

they make a whole lot more than cars

besides anyone who manufactures a car with air conditioning can make air conditioning units because they make ones in cars already
