So I'm having a problem with my Ping when i'm playing Games, for example this the game it really affects, I get almost constant lag stuttering, not frame drops but internet issues. However my Ping is constantly in the 20-50ms range. Other things like downloading and browsing the internet is fine but its just games that I have a problem with, I am using a TP-LINK TL-WN851ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter.

Many thanks

I'd recommend you to check your ping again at speedtest.net. Check it and type it here.

That is a very good Ping actually, I'd think it could be a port forwarding issue. Have you set your router to automatically open network ports via UPNP?

The servers on the game's end may be under heavy load and receiving lots of traffic.

How do I configure that?

I actually don't know how it's done in a different router than the one I have, what kind of router do you own?

That definitely isn't the case since all my games have this problem

I would say it's an issue with the ports on your router. Try turning off things like firewalls and anti-viruses and see if that helps

I'm not from the US, so I can't help you with this specific router but I'm quite sure that the port forwarding is your problem. I had the same problem a couple of years ago when I had an older router that could not properly route ports.
