Hello there, I was playing around in VMWare workstation pro 12. Then I had to turn off my virtual machine and now it wont even boot. I never touched any setting which have anything with this to do, and all the posts I can find online with this problem is people who want to upgrade to windows 10, and I've had windows 10 working without any problems... bear in mind this is on my Laptop not on my primary dekstop, Thank you

If it's any help I had this issue once, it was resolved by installing VMware Tools and fully updating Windows 10, I never saw it again after that

Well I had to start again with a fresh install, obviously you can't install VMware Tools if it won't boot :P

Just out of curiosity, is your laptop running on AMD? I have experienced once from a colleague VMware refusing to run VMs on his AMD laptop but the exact install and VM running fine on an intel laptop.
If not then I'm sorry I don't know :(
