wireless security system

So I live on a large property and have problems with people stealing things off my lot. I am trying to make a wireless security system that is solar powered. I have already made most of it but one problem im having is that my battery keeps overcharging off the solar power then drining too much overnight any tips on what i can use to automatically shut off the wifi when the batteries get low and jus keep the turret cameras running? Also any tips on what I can improve to just make it better.
