Funny bug with chrome, win10

Hi everyone,

I was just browsing this very forum when chrome suddenly minimalized and refused to maximialize ever again.

 

This is what it looked like when I hovered my cursor over chrome on taskbar:

This is what was flashing (you can see it's a little transparent, it only lasted for an instamt, had to be quick with this screenshot) in the upper left corner of my screen when I clicked on chrome's icon on taskbar (every 2nd click to be exact):

First time I've seen anything like this. I'm on Windows 10 by the way. After restarting chrome's window was as small as it is on the second picture but it remained visible and I was able to make it bigger normally.

I'm wondering how unique this is so please vote in the poll if it's not too much bother.

Also I'm kind of curious if the fault lies with windows or chrome. Ideas?
