So I have installed tails on my usb and it works fine on my laptop.

But when I try it on my Desktop it says loading please wait in the left corner of my screen very small I never see this on my laptop then I see some codes appearing beneath it and after that it says status: {drdy}.

What did I do wrong?

I disabled secure boot by deleting the pk key so that should not be the problem right?

Just wanted to try it out. never used anything else than windows so I'm just trying every Linux build that sounds cool.

prob dont want to start with the distribution that pedos use. Its really meant for political and journalism types who really need privacy. start with the big 3; fedora, ubuntu, debian

Already tried Ubuntu,

but still having a portable os that gives you a lot of privacy it just sounds cool.

btw I did not get it working on my mobo so I just give up there is no real benefit for me as you said...

US department of defence publishes a live cd for its staff that leaves no trace behind and is compatible with their identity card system. its called light weight portable linux. the security key for the website comes up as invalid because its not a public cert, its a military one. if you allow it you can access the web page. http://www.spi.dod.mil/lipose.htm

I dont use it coz it has adobe flash installed. its interesting coz its from the US gov so they are somewhat trustworthy in giving government sponsored privacy from foreign tracking. We dont know how they are tracking but if you are in the five eyes they are prob tracking you anyway. It doesn't really offer anything above fedora or ubuntu live CD if you are outside the US.

true privacy means using a VPN that is not linked to your credit card or bank account and is based in a country in another sovereign country that give the middle finger to your country's spy agencies and corporations. Tails is really useful in an internet cafe or library where you pay in cash. Tails uses TOR which has been hacked to death and FBI/NSA like it because the signatures it leaves indicate you are hiding something. Like I said it lumps your data in with the pedos and drug traffickers. we have a saying when you go to the beach the only thing you should leave is your foot print; If you want true privacy pay for internet with cash and only leave behind cat pictures. the five eyes have a lot of cat pictures to go through if they want to waste their time following me
