I'm looking to downsize my rig to a node 202 later this year. Only issue I'm having is trying to figure out storage. Since it can only fit 2.5" drives I am trying to figure out which storage solution to go with. Either take my 1tb wd blue, get an external enclosure for it, try to get some extra cash for a 1tb ssd (which would be hard for me to do but a possibility), or get a 250gb ssd with a 1tb 2.5" laptop drive.

Why not get a 2.5" HDD then if you want to save money?

I was thinking that. How big of a difference is it to go from 7200rpm to 5400rpm?

Not much tbh. I have a 5400rpm drive in my laptop and a 7200rpm in my desktop. The Windows 10 Fast boot makes booting windows really fast, even on a laptop (while my desktop has an SSD)

I would be getting a 240gb ssd for the build as a boot drive. This is just mass storage and such.

Just get a 250 ssd and a 1tb 2.5" hdd.

Get a HDD. No point in an absurdly expensive SSD for storage

Yea. I think I will go with a 1tb wd blue 5400rpm. =)

Not as much as it used to be. These days the controller matters most.

Xbox one or PS4?

I prefer the XBox One controller. PS4 still feels awkward to hold after 4 generations.
