It's all good.  You aren't required to have speaker that come with wire, although it is handy.  You can also looks for speakers with the compression grip connection.  You'll just have to buy speaker wire separately for it.  Even though it may not be as convenient as having the cable already attached, it opens up your searchability for inexpensive speakers.


Not sure what budget you're looking at when you say cheap, but these aren't too bad:

However, what type of setup are you looking for?  Number of speakers?  Connecting to Home theater, PC, Stereo, etc.  Is an amplifier involved?

i have a lineartech slim mixer SL-850 witch has a record player and cassette tape player connected to it. then the line out of the mixer is connected a insignia stereo receiver NS-STR514 and the receiver has my two speakers connected. and that's all.
