So I bought a couple Intel E5620s(4 of them) like almost a year ago, and finally decided to buy motherboards(Intel ServerBoard S5520UR) for them. The first server i used I ended up getting stock lga1366(Didn't fit, so i just broke of the legs and now it's only being applied by thermal paste :) ). So i ended building the second one about a week ago, and I actually got some server fans(Intel BXSTS100A Heatsink w/Fan for 2-Socket Server) I turned on the new one and it's crazy fucking loud, so i went into bios and I couldn't find anything inside of it to turn down the fan speeds (I was able to do it with the first one with the stock fans) I tried to look on google, but I didn't have any luck.

Thanks in advanced.

They're server fans. They're not actually designed to turn down, because... well they're server fans, why would you want to turn them down in a server environment.

If you need a server in a non server environment, then use non-server fans. Those delta's spin at 5000 rpm. my fans spin at 2k maximum.

Yeah I didn't realize i couldn't turn them down, lol.  I'll have to take a look into it thanks again!

Edit:

I was wondering if you could find me some fans that would fit on those heatsinks.

it's not so much that you "can't" turn them down. delta's are incredibly efficient at the speeds they're designed for. They aren't designed to be turned down however, and tend to glitch out and become unreliable at lower voltages.

I'm not very worried about temps, since it's not in a server environment.
