Hi, I recently purchased a prebuilt dell optiplex 790 and it came with a win 7 pro cOA (code), but I have a home premium code, I can't use the pro code on the Microsoft site but if I install win 7 pro some other way can I still use the dell pre given code or should I just install home premium?

Contact Microsoft Support via Live Chat and they will give you a version of Windows that can be activated by Dell COAs.

If you find a clean (not cracked) ISO for Windows 7 Professional, you should be able to install and activate with the Dell Certificate of Authenticity with no problems.

I have a copy but I'm not sure if it is cracked or not? Do u know where I could get one?
