Ps CC 2017 & Lavasoft

[Yakusoku]

I have an annoying problem of Ps CC 2017 crashing on start-up.

 

I've looked around the internet and found that it has something to do with Lavasoft. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/crash-lavasoft-conflict.html

 

The confusing part is, I have never installed any of their programs. I've even tried to use CCleaner and Windows own Uninstall tool to find the program if it is installed and uninstall it. Nothing, I cannot find the program.

Try going into regedit and searching for lavasoft there. I had a similar issue with CCleaner not seeing certain registy entries, but regedit was able to.

Removed the Lavasoft Adware. Really nice program.
