I bought a obutto r3volution and it will be here on Monday. I also ended up with a ASUS PG348Q UHD Curve Monitor and it says its vesa capable 100x100 and the obutto says it can do 100x100 but my worry is i havent seen 1 person mount this monitor and the spot where i see the 4 holes for VESA mount are inside of a hole in the back of the monitor and im assuming the mounting bracket will be square.

Unless the bracket is exactly 100x100 you'll have to cut it down, since it's in-set. (obviously you can have a slight bit of wiggle room though.)

I recently bought a wall-mount for my X34 that said it was 100x100 compatible. When it showed up, I found out the Vesa mounting on the back of my X34 is in-set into the body of the monitor, so I had to cut down the vesa mounting plate on the wallmount to fit, since it was actually like 200x200 compatible as well as 100x100.
