Building Computer

I am going to be building a desktop computer soon. I want the computer to be using daily for like surfacing the Internet and checking emails to. Plus in school I am in a video game design class and I want to put that program on this computer I am going to build to make some games. I also sometimes multitasking with Internet tabs or windows open on it. What would be a good mother board and cpu should I get for that. I do not want AMD I want to stick with Intel.

I kinda wanna try and keep is low. I really don't wanna go over $300 but I will if I have to.

i3 7100 and a B250 motherboard should do. Where do you live btw?
