Hey guys

I use a lot of canned compressed air and it seems to be costing me a lot.

I've seen the o2 hurricane x2/x3 and think this would be much better. I see there is a variant that is classed as ESD safe. Should I get this one or is just the standard one fine? They both say for cleaning computers so I'm confused why one is especially ESD safe.

Is just the normal variant ok?

Cheers.

The regular stuff is just fine, just don't spray it upside down. I've been using the regular brand for years without issue. I have no idea what an ESD safe rating would mean for a can of air.

I have the regular X3 at work and the instructions state it's safe for all PC components so either version should be fine.  The X3 is nice because of the rechargeable battery but my wife has a DataVac 500 and it's a lot more powerful than the X3 for about half the price, only drawback is it runs on AC power.

I only mention the upside down thing because of the liquid that comes out when you do so. I can't imagine that's any good for electrical components.

Wait, there is still liquid in the ones that you charge electrically????
