Boot speeds.

OK so, my laptop ( ASUS X555L ) boots up in 3.2 seconds however, my friends have ssd and there boot time is 10+ seconds. They asked me why I get such a fast boot time and I said that I wasn't sure. I still have time to get in to the bios but mine is still faster. Any clue why this is happening?

Edit: I do not have fast boot turned on.
