Ram Compatibility Issues?

It should work well. RAM speed will be downclocked to the lowest which is 1333

 

 

Hello to the community,


 

I currently have a 4gb ram on my system and i want to buy an extra 4gb, the current ram in an Adata Premier Series 4GB DDR3-1333MHz and i want to upgrade with an extra ram channel, the ram i am thinking of buying is an RAM KINGSTON KVR16N11S8/4 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ PC3-12800. My question is will these 2 rams be compatible with each other? Thanks for your time, any reply is welcome.



 

My pc specs are:

CPU                             Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz

                                   Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

RAM                            4,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard               ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8H61-M (LGA1155)

Graphics                     Generic Non-PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)

                                    2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 360 Series (Gigabyte)

Storage                       232GB Seagate ST3250410AS ATA Device (SATA)

Thank you, but help me out a little. I got my pc prebuilt, and i always thought that the ram speed (1333) was the fastest my motherboard could do, is that wrong?

Yeah, 1333 is the fastest it could do so it will be downclocked to that. Honestly just get the cheapest RAM you can find

Thanks for your reply :D, in that case i'll go for a RAM KINGSTON KVR13N9S8/4 4GB DDR3 1333MHZ PC3-10600.
