Advice and info for transfering to an SSD

I bought a dell optiplex 790MT it has a 300GB HHd I believe a 7200RPM 3.5 model. I'm wanting to move to an SSD, thinking this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FJ4UL2S/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER .

 

How is the best way, to move my windows 10 to it? Do a factory reset and clone? Or a fresh install and wipe the HDD? Also planning to add a 1 TB Hdd at the same time, so Might not be reusing the current HDD. What is the easiest way and will the Number on the info screen work to ID my windows for certification? Sorry for all the questions, still new to this stuff. Thanks for any info you can give
