So I have been speculating on my pc build for about 1 and a half year and I wanted to ask if my new build will keep me going in the future.

Right now I have my old build:

CPU: Intel i5-4440 3.10GHz Quad core

Motherboard: Gigabyte B85M-D2V

RAM: Crucial (2x4Gb) 1600 MHz 8GB

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming 3GB

PSU: Corsair VS 550W ATX

Right now I have a different build:

I only changed CPU, Motherboard and RAM.

I know that CPU and Motherbaord I have right now is outdated and for 2017 games is just not enough.

My main system purpose is general every day use and gaming. No streaming, no video editing.

don't bother with a cpu+mobo upgrade since you're on haswell, not much of a performance increase from haswell to kabylake. instead, if you want better performance just upgrade your graphics card instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
