HyperX Cloud 1 Soundcard?

I have looked at the whole line of the HyperX heaphones,and i've observed that in the cloud 2 there is a soundcard with 7.1 surround button.My question is: On the cloud 1,is there a sound card or just a controler? Is it worth it to spend the extra or should I stick with the Cloud Cores?

it only adds in-line volume controll and a mute button (very nice to have by the way). if you don't need a mute button, then buy the cloud core. if you need a mute button, then buy the normal cloud 1's.
