Setup a test network (network lab)

mpsparrow

In a forum post that I made about two weeks ago, someone suggested that I create a "Network Lab" to play around with these Cisco routers and ap's that I got from a friend. How do I go about setting up a network lab? Preferably I would like to have two networks in the house. One would be the main network that goes through my Asus router and connects to everything. The other would be my Cisco network so that I can play around with the routers and ap's I got. I don't want to interfere with my main system as people are using internet 24-7 in this house and we can't afford for it to be down for hours on end as I test Cisco routers.

Yeah, so I am noob. Please help me do this.
