As you can see this is more of aesthetics>performance, as such with LED ram, tempered glass and little features like freesync. This is meant to be a budget build so can you help me with pricing and maybe even another build (budget build)? It has to be $1000 AUD (around $750USD) max without OS and monitor. AMD Gpu only (FreeSync, DX12 etc). I would also like a very nice window. I know I know I should probably wait for ryzen and vega but hey I do PCPartPicker as a hobby

I'd recommend that you go for performance over aesthetics for now and upgrade in the future when you have the money. Trust me it's worth it, I hade a budget AMD build and made it look super nice  later on. Does an RX 470 match a gtx 960? If so I'd recommend that you save up for a better processor with a higher end motherboard.

Save some buck getting this PSU which is a bit better https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na

You can run Windows 10 deactivated for as long as you want, so also save those $120

An RX 480 doesn't cost much more - https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/84M323/msi-radeon-rx-480-4gb-gaming-x-video-card-radeon-rx-480-gaming-x-4g

And see if you can fit a true quad core CPU with the money saved.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

RX 470 is a good 35% faster than GTX 960. RX 480 50% faster.

I agree with ur statement that I should be focusing on power. Haha if an rx 470 performed around a 960 AMD'd be a little bit screwed wouldn't it :P

I hear from multiple people that Microsoft is very lax in allowing you to migrate even an OEM key to a new motherboard. Just contact MS supprt.

Oh thats good that I don't need to pay for Windows 10. I'd rather save cash than go for an i5 as I won't rlly benefit from an i5 too much. I'm not playing games too demanding and would only need HT

the g4560 is hyper threaded right? it took me a second to realize. yeah you probably wont see a big performance. maybe in open world games, but other than that it should be solid.

There is literally no reason to go for an i3 from the 6100-7350k

For this build I'm replacing the PSU for a cx550m (450m not in stock) and 470 for 480. Should I switch from a 2TB HDD to 1TB and upgrade down the road?
