Someone help cant figure this out. I have a msi z97 gaming 5, intel 4790k, 8gb ddr3 1600, Intel 750 nvme pcie ssd.

Fresh install converted partition to gpt, windows 8/10 features enabled in bios. Drivers for the 750 installed. All drivers for mobo installed.

Got everything working, computer stared fine boots fine everything worked. Then.... I finally went to OC cpu and the computer started booting into the efi shell. Its a stable OC that I have used before on this exact cpu and board so I know its stable. It only happens when I turn the computer on from an off state. When I "restart" the computer windows boots fine. I can get past the EFI shell by ctrl, alt, delete then typing exit in the shell. When I restore bios defaults and change mobo settings back to what they were minus the OC again computer boots fine. It seems its something to do with the OC but I dont know what. The only thing I change for the OC is the multiplier and vcore.

Any help or recommendations would be great. The board is also supposed to have been tested and works with the 750.

Set it to not boot using the shell. I believe my board has a Force Bios function under PCI devices.
