Hello, i am currently running a 680 in my rig and i would like some more horsepower for my 1440p monitor. If i sell my 680 i can get 270$ for it and then buy a 780.  a 780 is 650$ in my country.

So should i sell the card and buy a 780 at a "discount" if you can say that, or should i keep the 680 and wait for 800-series?

Also, what are your comments on going with 770 sli instead? My psu has the necessary wattage.

thx

800 series may be a long way off, if i was in your situation i would save a bit more and grab a 780ti but if thats too expensive then just a 780 or 290x non reference. 770 sli would be very powerful but i think its best to go with the most powerful single gpu you can afford

Right now I would recommend just going with the 780.

But before you do anything at all wait for some benchmarks on that 780ti. Once it is out you can decide if it is worth it or not.
