Can i get a 7.1 headset to work if I stream my xbox to my pc

I don't think anything above stereo works through Xbox streaming to pc but I could be wrong on that.

 

Either way, "7.1" headphones are a bunch of malarkey, and a set of stereo headphones will give you all of the directionality that you need.

Ok I didn't know where to ask this so I'm doing it here I believe that 7.1 surround sound doesn't work on xbox one with headsets but if I were to for example take a pair of 7.1 earphones with a usb and put them in my pc and stream my xbox to my pc could I use the 7.1 since the headset is hooked up to my pc?
